The new Clifford Street store for Anderson & Sheppard opens (quietly) today. It’s stunning inside, and I challenge you not to want the Ineas Meain knitwear, worn with one of the cashmere hanks around the neck. Just the thing for a cold October morning.
Go, and browse.
Wouldn’t it be fair to mention that you are employed by Anderson & Sheppard? Without mentioning this you are violating basic etiquette as a new reader might assume you are simply advocating for this brand on their own merits. The fact they pay you money is clearly and important bit of information for those seeking unbiased information. I believe there are moves to write laws that would require bloggers to state their conflicts of interest. I would encourage you to get out front on this and do the right thing.
I do mention it frequently. I think it might look a little odd to put it in brackets every time they are mentioned on the site, though.
Informative as ever. The only other source I have found for Innis Meain knitwear in GB is Grey Flannel in London. And, yes, it would look a little odd Simon. Well said.
I think we are all grown up on here and can think for ourselves. I can certainly recommend Inis Meain – I have a beautiful silvery grey ‘fisherman’ sweater that is fantastic – I bought it in Adare village near Limerick. I must go to the Aran Islands to see their workshop for myself. I’m not employed by A&S and am having my first suit made by them. So far very impressed.
