In Lyon this week, visiting the Zilli factory where they make the most beautiful leather products. The leathers in the jackets, particularly, are gorgeous.
More next week.

Welcome home. Enjoy Lyon. Have a look at Max Chaoul (women) and Gilles Hévaire (ties, waiscoat in silk).
Bonjour Simon,
Yes, these craftsmen are indeed very famous for their leather jackets. For sure, you will be amazed by their products!
Enjoy your time in Lyon! And do not forget the good restaurants!

I forgot to add this short remark: nice outfit! John
Hi Simon,
I recently look for high quality crocodile belt that is other than from Hermes,(since price the crocodile belts in Hermes have increased over 50% in the last 5 years, and my collections are entirely from Hermes)
That’s why I am now looking at Zilli and Stefano Ricci, I know you got a Zilli belt, may I know what do you think of it, like materials/craftsmanship/durability etc and whether it is worthy to buy Zilli in full retain price from your point of view?
Kind regards
Gab
Hi Gab,
My belt is certainly very high quality, and from that point of view I would recommend it.
Zilli is still a large brand, and to that extent you will be paying more, but not as much as Hermes.
I hope that helps
