Last night saw the launch of Sharp Suits by Eric Musgrave, at the Richard James store on Savile Row (as well as a parallel event at Norton & Sons across the road exhibiting the new E Tautz line for family and friends). Photos of the launch are below, courtesy of Andy Barnham. Kudos on the shot of Richard James, Andy (I wonder who suggested you take that one?)
Anyone know what kind of glasses the man in the second photo down is wearing?
That man is me – Eric Musgrave!
The spex are from Kirk Originals, 29 Floral Street, Covent Garden, London W2H 9LP (020 7240 5055). The style is called “Dean” – check with Seamus at the store if it is still available. He is on [email protected]
Wow!
What are the odds?
Thank you very much for your reply, and for the detailed information.
I think your glasses are amazing. They are both stylish and strongly masculine, and remind me of the classic image of Yves St. Laurent posing in the early ’70s, or of Christian de la Mazière as interviewed in The Sorrow and the Pity.
Congratulations and good luck on your new book. It looks fantastic.
These are my second version of the Dean. My first were black, with silver arms, but there were lost in a taxi in 2006. The spex receive many compliments – I may try an all-black pair next time round.
